Look Before You Lock

Updated: Jul 29, 2021

The weather is heating up and adults are more distracted than ever before. We're also out of our normal routines. All of these issues add up to a perfect recipe for heatstroke related deaths. A few tips to remember

  • Never, ever leave a child alone in a car - not even for a few seconds.

  • If you see a child unattended in a vehicle, call 911 immediately.

  • Lock your car doors when you park your vehicle, even in your own driveway. Kids can some times gain access to the vehicle and not be able to get out.

  • AND look in the back seat of your car BEFORE you lock it to make sure you did not unintentionally forget your child in his or her car seat.
