According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, unintentional injuries are the leading cause of morbidity and mortality for children in the US. At Safe Kids Chicago and Illinois, we are committed to addressing the issue that kills 12,000 children and sends another 9.2 million to hospital Emergency Departments each year.
